MDF Beam Covers Coated With Our Liquid Metal Brass
An example of our Hot Rolled Steel Wall Panels. The characteristics of these panels are its natural tones from the manufacturing process. Our Steel Panels come in Blackened Steel, Hot Rolled Steel, Weathered Steel and other finishes. Our Steel Panels are sealed both sides for exterior wall cladding and interior wall panels.
This hood was fabricated from thick aluminum. Then we applied our MetalMorphose Liquid Brass Finish. The brass has been hand brushed and carfully patinated to get just the right luster that this beautifull kitchen demands.

Our panels are made from various substrates with real metal finishes. Endless textures and patinas.
Our steel wall panels come in three different finishes. Natural, Blackened and Rust. All steel panels are sealed front and back to protect from rusting. The rusted panels are sealed to prevent the rust from bleeding onto other sufaces or from rubbing off onto clothing in case brushed against.
We apply real metal in a liquid form to architectural and design elements for the exterior and interior design industry. We supply custom hand finished wall panels in many substrates and sizes, for cladding walls or for building your own custom pieces. We build custom pieces for our own metal finishes, such as range hoods. We take hot rolled and cold rolled steel sheets and rust them, blacken or leave the natural finish, but we seal every steel sheet. This keeps the rust or patina from bleeding onto other surfaces.
Our liquid metals are REAL metal finishes for your INTERIOR and EXTERIOR designs.
There is no heat used to apply the metal, it is a cold application of very fine pure metal particles bonded together in our own resin. Any material can be metalized.
Once the liquid metal surfaces are finished they are hard, durable, living, real metal finishes.
This is a very simple vent hood cover built with common MDF. The MDF is epoxy sealed on all surfaces inside and out to protect it from grease and heavy steam. All of our MDF and wood built range hoods are protected with epoxy. This hood was coated with our liquid bronze metal. We then sanded the metal to the desired luster and darkened it lightly with a light brown patina. After cleaning and brushing the surface its then clear coated to protect the finish and to keep the bronze from further natural patinating.
This was a very standard 42" X 96" fiberglass door. The new home owners wanted something special for their entry way and asked if we could make their door copper. So it being an existing door we needed to bring the door to our shop and put in a temorary door for as short a time as possible. It usually takes about one week to finish a door this way. Some finishes can take a little longer. We can turn any type of door into copper, whether its wood, fiberglass, steel or a composit we can metalize it. And not only copper, we have many different liquid metals to make an entry door stand out the way an entry door should. We ship all over Canada and the U.S. We can even order your new door here, give it a real metal finish and send it to you.
The hearth section and upper section of this fireplace are coated with our liquid iron. The hearth with a natural grey iron, and the main portion with a blackened iron. Besides having numerous real metal finishes and many textures to choose from, we also have different substrates. Marine plywood, MDF and our concrete panels are some of the choices we have used for fireplaces. Once coated with one of our metal finishes all these substrates become beautiful surrounds for any fireplace.
We restored this century old clawfoot bathtub inside and out. We finished the inside with white enamel and a nano coating of clear. The outside was finished with our liquid copper finish. A lot of prep goes into these old tubs but the end result is worth it. Any one of our real metal finishes could have been used but copper was chosen for this particular tub.
These uppers are coated with a very fine metallic, Liquid Anodizing. This is different than our Liquid Metal. This is actually metallic paint, however there is no sparkle in the finish as with other metalic paints. The metal particles in this anodize coating are so small they can not be seen indivdually. You only get the metalic glow, not the sparkles. The anodized effect comes in many colours and lusters. Contact us if you would like to hear more about liquid anodizing. The beauty of this is we can anodize anything. Not just aluminum as anodizing is associated with.
We wanted to incorporate the join into the design, so instead of a straight vertical join we built two custom panels with the join designed as a crack. These custom panels are made using fire rated MDF. They are coated with a special black concrete to give the panel movement and texture before the zinc is applied. As always then the metal is worked to get the desired color and feel we are looking for. Then finished off with one of our high heat clear coats.
People ask, "Can your real metal finishes be used in exterior environments?"The answer is YES. This 20 foot exterior sign was constructed from aluminum. Before coating the sign with our liquid metal copper, we put the surface through several different treatments to prepare the aluminum surface. After applying our copper we are left with a real copper finish that we can now give a black mottled patina. Exactly what the customer was looking for. The clear coat is applied to protect the finish and to keep the copper from further natural patina over time. This is real copper, it can be left to the elements to patina naturally or the desired finish can be preserved with the clear coating.
Built in shop and installed onsite. These Iron clad mdf boxes beautifully conceal the rough discoloured concrete columns underneath. The black mottled finish goes perfectly with this penthouse`s interior. This iron finish is smooth with a small amount of pits. The iron has a black patina but the smooth surface causes the blacks to change to deep deep blues from different angles.
These beam covers were shipped to us as bare MDF. We coated the MDF surfaces with concrete to give an interesting feel to the beams. Liquid brass was specified, and a semi polished finish. There was no clear coat used to protect the brass from patinating over time. We wanted the beams to get the natural glow and color that our brass develops over time.
Our rusted steel, also referred to as weathered steel or corten steel, are unlike most other simular panels. After putting the steel panel through any of our rusting proceedures the panel is sealed front and back. By sealing the finish it keeps the rust from bleeding or running onto other surfaces. These panels are created for exterior enviroments but are great indoors also because the rust will not get on clothing or skin.
Hot Rolled Steel gets its coloring from the processing of the steel sheets. These natural shades of blue and grey are an attractive finish all on their own. With proper cleaning and sealing we have been able to offer these panels and blackened steel panels for exterior applications. Learn More Below
For our black steel we either use hot rolled or cold rolled steel. We clean the natural steel and then apply our patina process to get the steel the desired black tone we are looking for. We then seal the steel to prevent it from rusting and also to protect the patina from rubbing or bleeding onto other surfaces. Our blackened steel can have more movement in the patina if desired.
Our concrete panels come in many different finishes. We often coat them with liquid iron to give us a surface that we can rust to one of the different rust colours we create. The can be coated in any of our real metal finishes. We seal these for exterior use but they are great for interior places as well. Perfect for fire places and the rust or patina will not rub off. We create our liquid Metal Panels from many different substrates in standard and custom sizes. Each type of substrate offers the freedom to meet different criteria requested by our customers. Every panel we design is crafted by hand. From an elegant brushed brass finish to a heavy textured white bronze, every detail in our designs are well planed and brought to life with care and a drive to be different.
Range Hoods have become a welcomed request from builders and designers. Whether the hood is sent to us built or we build them to your specifications, its the application of our liquid metal process that sets it apart. Our finished hoods become a focal point in any kitchen. Very soon we will be releasing our own line of hood designs.
Our liquid metal finishes applied to a manufactured steel, wood or fibreglass entry door will leave it not only beautiful, but also timeless. An oil rubbed black bronze for example doesn't play second fiddle to the next new colour of the year. Bring us your old or new door and have it customized with a real metal finish.
Patina is a very important part of our finishes. Patinas basically come down to knowledge. For instance we don't make copper blue, we only know why it turns blue. The more knowledge you have, the more you can unlock from the metal that is naturally already there. We bring out very unique patinas and we never stop trying to unlock new secrets from the elements and their alloys.
Rust is also a patina. It is by far the most common patina people see around them and for that reason we give it a space of its own. When rust is created under controlled conditions its colours can be utilized for different interior or exterior spaces. With our Liquid Iron we can create rust on any substrate. We also seal the rust so it doesn't rub off on cloths or bleed onto other surfaces.
