Decorative Wall Panels

Decorative Metal Panels
Real Metal Finish
&
Steel

First, lets look at the Real Metal Finish type panels. Hand crafted wall panels with real liquid metal finishes. Built with several substrates and custom sizes. Simple to shape and cut in your shop or onsite. These are the panels that we coat with our liquid metal. They can be any type of sheet product. MDF, plywood, concrete, plastic or aluminum. We use all of our metal finishes, textures and patina on these different substates. They are mostly used for cladding walls, however they are also great for building your own pieces. You can use them to build range hoods, cabinetry, and many other architectural elements. They are easy to cut with table and track saws with the proper blades and routers cut the metal finishes beautifully as well. So any finish seen on this site and many more beside these can be applied to any of the substrates mentioned above.

Textured wall panel with real nickel finish

Nickel Wall Panel

This is a real nickle finish on this panel. This is a 1/2" sheet of 4' X 8' MDF. We get the textures for our panels from several different methods. Those methods depend on the substrate we are using, what the panel is being used for and where it is being used. You can use our nickel panel as wall clading or it can be used to build or laminate other items. Such as a range hood, cabinetry or just about anything you can think of. It cuts like other finished laminates. This panel as with all our panels is hand crafted. The texture, the metal finish, all done by hand. no two panels are ever alike.

Bronze panel mottled blackening and pitted surface

Bronze Wall Panel

Bronze as with copper and brass, offers so many different finishes because of the different patinas that just naturaly work with it. It can be very dark black, deep dark blues and brown patinas go hand and hand with bronze. But keeping the rich color of the bronze itself dominant is a must. Its Beautiful and quiet. This bronze panel as with all our panels are different than other panels on the market. There is no mass production. We craft them one at a time.

Copper panel with aged look from black and brown patina

Copper Wall Panel

We have several copper finishes for our wall panels. Brushed, polished, textured and many different patinas. This burnt copper finish would make great decorative wall panels or even cabinetry doors. How about a jaw dropping entry door. It can also be applied to aluminum, mdf or plywood sheets.

Antique Brass Wall Panel

Antique Brass can mean many different brass finishes. This is an example of one of our antique brass finishes. Each panel can have the movement of the motteling changed to blend as to not create a repeatative pattern when several panels are used together. One panel can cover an existing door as an example for a way to use our wall panels.

Steel Wall Cladding

The Steel Panels are just that, sheets of steel. Steel sheets are a great way to clad interior and exterior walls. So we have three main finishes for steel. Natural, Blackened and Rust. Natural steel panels are hot rolled steel sheets that we clean, prep and clear coat. The natural blue and grey tones of the hot rolled steel are very industrial and atractive. Once we seal the steel they can be used in interior and exterior environments and no rust will develop. We seal them front and back.

Next up are Blackened Steel Panels. We use Cold Rolled Steel sheets for creating these panels. We take the cold rolled sheets, clean and prep them for our blackening process, which is hand applied patina. Every finish we create is hand done. The sheet then gets sealed front and back same as the natural finish. They are now ready for interior and exterior walls.

The third panel we use steel for is Rusted Panels also known as Corten Steel. We have different shades of rust and combinations of rust tones we create for these paneles.

Hot Rolled Steel

This is a sample of our hot rolled steel. The blue and grey shades are from the manufacturing process of hot rolled steel. Above we mentioned that our steel samples and panels are different than our other metal samples. This is because we dont apply our liquid metal to these panels. We clean and seal the natural steel to protect it from rusting.

Black Steel

For our black steel we either use hot rolled or cold rolled steel. We clean the natural steel and then apply our patina process to get the steel the desired black tone we are looking for. We then seal the steel to prevent it from rusting and also to protect the patina from rubbing or bleeding onto other surfaces. Our blackened steel can have more movement in the patina if desired.

Weathered Steel

This is a sample of our Weathered or Rusted Steel. Our rusted panels are not like other rusted panels out there. The rusted panels we create do not continue to rust, the rust does not rub off and the rust does not bleed onto other surfaces. The back of the steel panel is also protected from weathering. These panels are created for exterior environments but of course they are great indoors also because the rust will not rub off onto clothes. We can also create rust on any substrate, for example by coating a panel of MDF or Concrete with our Liquid Iron, it now has a surface that can be rusted and sealed.

Blackened Aluminum
and
Concrete Wall Panels

Below are two types of wall panels we didnt mention in the intro at the top of this page

Aluminum sheet with patinated black finish

Blackened Aluminum Sheet

This is a sheet of aluminum that has been blackened and sealed. Simple but very effective as a way to bring impact to a space. These are one of the most cost effective wall panels we have. They are very light weight, which makes them easy to install and easy to ship. We should mention that we use aluminum sheets for coating with our metal finishes, but with this blackened example its just the raw aluminim sheet that is blackened and sealed.

Concrete wall panel with blackened and rusted finish

iron Concrete Wall Panel

This is an example of a concrete sheet coated in liquid iron and one of our rust finishes applied. Our Concrete Panels can be coated with any of our metal finishes and the natural texture of the concrete gives depth and movement to the finish. These are excellent as exterior wall cladding
